Eric's Story

Over a 13 month period I lost my mother, mother in law and wife, to various forms of cancer. One day while my late wife was having tests, I heard a young child in the room next door screaming in pain whilst also undergoing an invasive test. Knowing that whole blood, plasma, and platelets are used in all different medical treatments, I wanted to be selfless and help others who need the lifesaving products others donate. I started donating whole blood when I was 16 years old and I still donate now. I’ve given around 60+ donations.
