Why Sarah donates

I remember going with my Mum when she donated blood. She'd been donating since she was 18 and she always told me that I should do it. Fast forward to quite a long time later and I was walking past our local Blood Centre and thought I'd pop in and ask about it. Next thing you know, I'm in a chair donating blood. Gotta say, the old team at the Napier Blood Centre were so awesome to deal with. Always really friendly, joking around, attentive and just great for setting the nerves at ease. I'm so glad that I donate and am able to help where I can. It's so important to be able to do these things for other Kiwi's!!
